We recommend all non-members pre-book online, including babies, even if attending on a day when kids visit free.

Melbourne Zoo will be closed to the public on Saturday 12 October for Dream Day, an event for children with a disability and their families.

Planned maintenance will be occurring on a few habitats. This means some animals will not be viewable during this time. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Member and general admissions into Melbourne Zoo will close at 4pm on Monday 14 October as we conduct an upgrade on our ticketing system. The Zoo will continue to be open to those who have entered before this time.
